If big city life is what you like then I am sure that you will love Manila. Like any other Asian metropolis, Manila is chaotic and full of life. Like most capital cities, Manila is vastly different from the rest of the country. Manila has a population of 12 million residents spread over 636 square kilometers. Poverty is still very rampant but mostly secluded to a few shabby and run down areas of the city. Makati, Ortigas and Fort Bonifacio are clean, developed and skyscraper-smothered, like any other booming Asian metropolis. We will start of with the Manila staple formerly called “LA Cafe” which has recently been renamed to “Manila Bay Cafe” and is definitely one of the most popular pickup joints in Manila where you can have fun at any time of the day.Asking prices usually start with 2500php, but the actual rates are 1500p+. The entertainment center is a complex of different bars, once inside it’s like a small shopping mall.The most popular establishment would be Firehouse. It is a fairly large bar with theme-based decorations. Prices are a little higher compared to Philippine standards but then again you get what you pay for. The quality of the girls is all way above standard and that reflects in the price.

The biggest bar in the EDSA complex is Cotton Club. It has two floors and a fairly large mezzanine where you can watch the show from upstairs.

Whichever bar you choose to visit you wont be disappointed. All the establishments offer a clean and entertaining environment with a large choice in ladies.

Aside from the nightlife Manila also has other places worth visiting. If you are fond of history, try visiting Intramuros. Inside the walled compound you can find old style Spanish houses preserved and made into museums. Also inside Intramuros you can find a very old church that was built during the colonial era.

If you enjoy shopping then you should drop by Makati, any foreigner would be surprised at how Makati looks like. It is such a contrast compared to other cities in the Philippines. Makati has all the amenities you would expect to find in any major metropolis.
